Electronic Toll Collection System(Electronic Toll Collection, ETC), is currently the most widely popular, one of the most rapidly developing intelligent transportation highway toll system, but the current building electronic toll collection system is still not perfect, basically only apply to private vehicle traffic, this paper analyzes the existing ETC technology optimization algorithm based on this proposed vehicle recognition technology for passenger cars, minivans classification, in order to achieve a variety of models using the ETC system can access the system.This paper introduces several major highway toll technology is currently analyzing the electronic toll collection system and the manual toll collection system to compare their technical advantage. Electronic toll collection system is an effective management system combines advanced automatic identification technology, wireless communication technology, sensor technology and computer technology, and other technologies. Universal application of the system, will better meet people’s daily travel needs for transportation convenience, ease the pressure on road traffic, improve road capacity, reduce the burden on the staff of the charging station, charging improve efficiency and avoid errors.Thesis on the overall structure of the electronic toll collection system, composition, workflow described in detail. Focused on the realization of electronic toll collection system key technologies: automatic vehicle identification technology and automatic vehicle classification. Automatic vehicle identification technology is the entire electronic toll collection system, the core technology is the basic guarantee system to function effectively. Establish a better system model.In this paper, based on radio frequency identification technology(Radio Frequency IDentification, RFID) automatic vehicle identification system to do a more detailed analysis and discussion, the author of the aspects of the principle of RFID technology, structure, the identification process were analyzed, focusing on the RFID technology anti-collision algorithm, based on the analysis of the traditional binary tree anti-collision algorithm, an improved algorithm for ideas, check redundant information repeatedly after signature by contrast compression to compress the number of collisions and transmission time, so as to improve efficient algorithms, and simulation experiments compared compared to conventional binary tree anti-collision algorithm efficiency has been greatly improved.Finally, for some opportunists, multi-car collusion, use a small car OBU by large vehicles, such as changes in vehicle classification methods to achieve the purpose of tax evasion charges. Proposed a formula based on fuzzy model identification method based on image recognition technology. Access card reader via radio frequency technology models of identification, and significantly reduce the tax evasion charges, the further improvement of electronic toll collection system.
