Design And Realization Of Network Teaching System Based On J2EE

Today, the characteristics of the development of information are explosive growth and rapid updating, which brings about the new request to the reform of education. The traditional teaching method cannot meet the new demand, which composed of large amounts of data. Therefore, a new teaching mode must break through the limit of time and space in traditional classroom, making full use of modern means of teaching,integrating of a variety of teaching resources. Thus create an autonomous learning model for students to study under the guidance of teachers.Network teaching system studied in this paper is based on current situation, taking use of the advanced development pattern and environment. According to the system’s requirements, designing system’s architecture and function, and eventually, realize the construction of network teaching system. This system is based on the framework of J2 EE, designing various functions of the system. The main contents include:1. Realize the function of network teaching. The users can be divided into three categories: teachers, students, administrators. The corresponding permissions of these three roles are not consistent. Announcement release, online learning and question answering, homework organization, test module are composed to the system, providing a way for the students to learn the course from a full range.2. Network navigation. Network education is autonomous, through independent learning, realizing the separation of learning space and time. According to the characteristics of the network course, based on users’ demand, creating a navigation system with its own characteristics which meets users’ needs. In order to avoid confusion in learners’ autonomous learning process, facilitating the learning procedure,reducing the interference of useless information, improving learning efficiency, a good navigation is significant. Meanwhile, it provides a more efficient way of teaching for teachers.3. Video teaching and interactive animation. The system provides the function of video download, thus the students can follow the rhythm of video to learn by themselves, understanding the knowledge which not followed in class.The network teaching system of J2 EE can provide a full range of teaching and learning environment. Based on network navigation, learning online is more convenient, flexible and diverse.
