The Design And Implementation Of The Blind Man Home Furnishing Assistant System Based On Speech Recognition Technology

In the past 30 years, the graphical user interface has made great progress, but using a system by graphical user interface needs vision and hands, which is very inconvenient for the blind and disabled. However, using voice user interface in the interaction control of smart home will greatly facilitate their lives. The voice user interface can make full use of the human voice information for the man-machine interaction, because the voice is the most direct, convenient and effective tool for human communication.The goal of this thesis is to realize a home furnishing assistant system which can help the blind man to live more convenient in the household life. This system uses the ARM embedded system technology and voice recognition technology, as well as the structured design m ethod of so ftware engineering. This thesis m ainly completed the following works.1. Analysis of functional requirem ents, this thesis firstly analyzes the f unctional requirements of this system from the user’s perspective;2. Research on key tech nologies, including improving speech recognition accuracy and how to use audio synthesis technology in embedded systems;3. The design of system hardware circuit, the design content includes: main control circuit, speech recognition circuit, the GSM comm unication circuit, switch control circuit and power supply circuit;4. The design of system software, the design content includes: main program design, the speech recognition module software design and GSM communication module software design.This system will be able to he lp the blind man live m ore convenient in the household life. This thesis has a practical application value, and can be a reference when developing similar systems.
