With the development of the modern science and technology, human has stepped into the information society. The digitization and intelligentization of the information technology, globalization of the information network and informatization of the national economy have been the main characteristics of the information society. House furnishing industry must be affected by the information technology on such occasions. At the same time, people has put forward more requirements for the house furnishing such as comfort, health, safety, convenience and so on. The reveal of those requirements shows the great potential as well as means the coming of the era of intelligent house furnishing.Intelligent house furnishing is a new research field these years. How to build up a high-efficient and low-cost housing furnishing system has been a hot issue presently. As an important research area, information collection and remote monitoring for housing furnishing environment have been developing for the purpose of low-cost and high-intelligence. An intelligent housing furnishing monitoring system integrated with information collection and audio control is built up in this paper based on the research background the application requirements. This system set embedded micro processor as the main control platform, linux as the OS and combines such three modules as information collection, information communication and audio recognition to implement a series of intelligent operations as the remote delivery of abnormal infonnation as well as the audio recognition control. So we can reckon it as good research and exploration for intelligent house furnishing control system.This paper shows the whole design scheme of the system as well as the design and implementation of some main modules. Firstly, we map out the whole scheme of the system, the function module and further set up embedded Linux platform. Then, we finish the corresponding software design according to the composing and requirement of the extended circuit board to implement the collection of abnormal information and the control of household appliances. Furthermore, we finish the design of the software for the module which is based on the information transmitting and processing for GPRS to implement the remote deliver, receiving and control for information. Then, we choose LD3320as the main controlling chip for the audio module to implement the function of audio recognition. At last, we program the entire controlling interface of the system to integrate the functions of each module.Test of each module and the entire system has shown that designed system in this paper can implement the remote alarming of abnormal information, audio recognition and controlling for spot and remote intelligent housing furnishing. It has almost reached the goal set before.
