So the applied research of the speech recognition technology has become more important.As the appliance needs ,this Article research and design a specialized speech recognition and applies to home appliances–a small systems - voice recognition module, and from the system hardware to the system software, this Article are all discussed.This article summarizes the major work are as follows:1. Analysis of speech recognition technology, the basic principles, summarized the current speech recognition technology, the basic methods and techniques.Introduce the acoustic model, search, system implementation, adaptive and robust, such as basic theory, and described in detail based on the GMM (Gaussian mixture model) speech recognition training and decision theory.2. Design the hardware platform.Some aspects of hardware platforms including: audio signal input and output circuit, control circuit processing, the expansion of the FLASH and SRAM, and the host computer (appliance control panel) communications circuits and other related auxiliary circuit. Designed in the system, always follow a basic principle: it is necessary to meet the appliance on the speech recognition system functional requirements, but also to meet the minimum system requirements (low-cost design).3. Use the hardware platform, study the sample of voice signal, pre-processing of voice signal, the start and the end of the sound, voice and other feature extraction research, at the same time the system needs to operate on the hardware part of a detailed description of including the expansion of external FLASH and SRAM read and write, CODEC chip operation, with the upper part of the communication.4.
