As the State Grid SG186 project successfully completed,Enterprise informatization levels to a new step. Company staff produces a large amount of data every day; the era of big data has arrived. How to ensure the safety of these huge amounts of data is becoming a new project. "Cloud storage" platform will be a viable solution for mass data storage.As a new service, cloud storage will store the staff’s data in the cloud server. They can access their data at any time in any place by internal strong intelligent high-speed information network. At the same time, local data and server data is backed up, it effectively protects the security of data.GlusterFS is an open source distributed computing platform, which exhibited excellent performance on distributed computing and data storage. GlusterFS has a powerful data storage capacity, it’s very suitable for cloud storage system. This project is based on cloud storage model GlusterFS, and set up a LAN cloud storage System based on GlusterFS, GLCSS.GLCSS system uses a star topology, where multiple clients connect to the cloud storage center server over the network. GLCSS client in the form of software deployed on the State Grid Electric Power Company, Sichuan Meishan power company employees PC. After the user’s data arrived the servers of GLCSS, they are stored in the cloud storage servers, and under unified management, including historical version management, archive management, storage resource management. The system implementation, including read and writes control, data cache, the cache dynamic expansion, differential downloads and other core functions. Test results show that, GLCSS is able to support the LAN data cloud storage, data management, data mirroring, real-time data downloads and other functions, and thus it provides a technical support for the effective and safe storage of user data.As can be seen from the test of the system, the system achieved a complete and reliable LAN cloud storage requirements, its performance and functionality has met the requirements of the design at the beginning. It has friendly interface, easy operation to meet the requirements of State Grid power supply company in Meishan as a private cloud storage service.
