| Product Data Management (PDM) is the technology based on software, which manages all the information(including electro-texts,numeric files,database files and so on ) and the process (including working flow and changing flow) related the production. Through the implementation of PDM, introduce advanced management thought to improve the enterprise's core competitiveness. It is the first choice of enterprise's information construction.By abstracting some production processes of the printing & dyeing industry's padding line based on the PDM theory, designs a set of PDM system for the printing & dyeing industry. Discusses the system's main functions and the key technologies, and expatiates the system's design. Among the content consists of two main parts:The first part introduces the concept, the development process, the application status and the developing trends of PDM. According to the actual conditions of Zhejiang Jianglong Textile printing & dyeing Co., Ltd. the detailed demand is analyzed. Based on the enterprise's own software and hardware environment, the systematic architecture can be set up. The various functional modules and the idiographic functions are ascertained.The second part discussed the design of the database and the realization of the function modules, using the Browser/Server structure and Struts MVC architecture model. The system uses typical three-tier software architecture: client layer, database layer and Web server layer. Using Tomcat as application server and MySQL as database system. The database interface JDBC is used to operate the database.In this paper, a viable solution for the printing & dyeing PDM's development and design is given. Through the implementation of printing & dyeing PDM system will informationize the production process of printing & dyeing enterprises, strengthen the collaboration between staff, and control resources and accelerate turnover effectively. The efficiency of work and management are improved. |
