With the advancement of science and technology, the satellite network has played an increasingly significant role in our life. The rapid development of mobile Internet and interactive service has witnessed an increase in demand of mobile satellite communications, especially low-orbit satellite mobile multimedia communications. From the view of mobile users, the ongoing call being blocked is much more unacceptable than a new call which is blocked. Currently LEO satellite communication system provides mainly the multimedia services. The channel reserve strategy for a single service cannot meet the current needs any longer. Thus, the channel reservation strategy for the multimedia services becomes a hot research direction.Firstly, this thesis thoroughly investigates the related knowledge background of LEO satellite system. On the basis of the depth analysis of the background, this thesis studies the key techniques of the channel allocation in the LEO satellite system. As a starting point, the thesis analyzes the content of the current literature on channel allocation strategy. The channel allocation model based on LEO satellite system environment has been built. According to channel allocation model, the channel allocation strategy is designed what is considering the priority users or the different types of services requirements. The thesis has put forward the multimedia dynamic reserved channel allocation strategy and the more user levels channel reserved allocation strategy. And through the simulation experiments to validate the effectiveness of the algorithm, the simulation proves that the proposed strategies can reduce the handover blocking rate of high priority services or the high priority user, and have better performance. The strategy Eventually reaches the purpose of reducing the handover blocking rate and the new call blocking rate. It further increases the channel utilization and it balances the large capacity pressure caused by the user accessing the channel.
