With the development of economic globalization, the international community communications in all aspects get more and more frequent 。 The foreign trade management of scientific research unit has some characteristics: large amount of data, complex job categories, low error rate, strict policies and so on. From the point of traditional ways of working, the aspects of manual collection, audit and record, etc. can’t meet the demand for the development of foreign trade management. In business management, the introduction of network management is essential. In recent years, with the development of international trade information technology, database management software and enterprise information operational management software, etc. has put into practical application in large quantities, in response to the present situation of the increasing enterprise products trade data and the constantly enriched data accumulation.Firstly, the paper analyzed the current situation about foreign trade management research at home and abroad, as well as the opportunities and challenges that the informationization brought for the enterprise development. The author organized the related theory of foreign trade management, studied the related technologies of the design and implementation of foreign trade management system, and summed up that the scientific research units foreign trade management systems in our country had the prevailing problems of program development apart from the actual needs, etc.at present. The discussion of the related problems triggered the author’s thinking about the ways of solving problems. Through the demand analysis of the foreign trade management system construction, we found out the actual demands of the user’s using the scientific research units foreign trade management system. Based on actual needs, we sorted out the specific needs of the design and implementation of scientific research institutes’ foreign trade management system. Then, the article illustrates the system design and the function implementation of foreign trade management system. After the system fully tested, functional module testing and analysis and evaluation, we found the drawbacks. in the system design and implementation, and gave the corresponding solutions.Summarizes the design and implementation of scientific research units foreign trade management system, the main research work of this thesis includes:1)we have dug out the actual needs of foreign trade management in scientific research institution by investigation and study;2)Under the MVC design pattern, we have realized the design of the scientific research units foreign trade management system through ASP.NET and SQL Server;3)By using the test of users, we have got the system advantages and disadvantages, to provide a reference for subsequent optimization work.The test experiment results show that the foreign trade information management system designed in this paper can help scientific research units highly integrate capital and logistics in the foreign trade management and be able to provide the managers with the actual useful trade decision data through data analysis function, which greatly improve the working efficiency of the managers, and reduce the chance of mistakes at work.
