As the number of users continues increasing and the faculty of Chengdu Industrial Vocational Technical College(CDIVTC) workers raise higher demand for the data storage systems, the original storage system architecture and capacity load can’t meet the requirements of rapid growth of information. The storage system should be higher performance and reliability. In that case, it’s an urgent need to integrate the existing storage resources and build a data-centric, distributed processing, centralized management storage systems. In order to improve the teaching effect of non-computer major student, including basic computer courses and high-level language programming courses, computer laboratory should provide more reliable service for students, this thesis established a distributed network storage system which can provide a centralized network storage space for teachers and studentsAs used herein, the development of the network data storage system includes a storage management, the application interface layer and access layer. Based lustre(Cluster File System) distributed file system to achieve a storage network data storage management system; to achieve application interface layer framework is based on CTDB software, and based on SAMBA, NFS Server and autonomy to achieve Restful service implements the interface CIFS protocol interface, NFS protocol interface and Restful interface. Management of the network data storage system application interface layer, the user security validation and system reliability are studied. Based on a script and remote command management mechanisms to achieve the synchronization interface layer multi-node; NIS services based on user authentication mechanism to achieve a unified interface layer; CTDB public DNS and IP-based cell technology to achieve a load balancing mechanism. Finally, in a real environment for network data storage system for functional verification and performance testing.
