Radarsignal processing has featuresof widespreadresearch content, differentprinciple,abstract theory and complex model, resulting in a large study curve. Limited by the lack of radar experimental device, learning of radar signal processing theory is difficult to obtain concrete understanding from experiments intuitive. The currently available experimental platform is targeted, lack of versatility and flexibility, and inconvenient to verify different radar signal processing principle. So an experiment platform to flexibly verify multiple radar signal processing principle is necessary.This paper studies the theory of radar signal processing monopulse tracking and digital beamforming technology and the realization, emphasis on the realization of radar signal processing algorithmsbasedon FPGA and DSP.For application purposes experimental platform for comparing the performance of different parameters under the radar signal processing algorithms, this paper using PC software implementation parameters.For experimental purposes of Platform,through PC software configure parameters, this design can compare the performance of different parameters under the radar signal processing algorithms. By PC + CPLD structure, platforms can choose to implement different functions to verify the performance of different easier radar algorithms in the experiment.The major work this paper studied and completed can be summarized as follows:1. Based on the study of radar signal preprocessing, pulse compression, clutter suppression, signal detection theory and so on, the dissertation introduces simulation and verification of monopulse amplitude-comparison angle measurement and digital beamformingalgorithm.2. Based on the overall function and performance requirements of the multi-mode radar signal processing platform, the dissertation introduces overall architecture of the design, including software and hardware system architecture, workflow of various functions and analysis capabilities of storage resources required.3. General design idea, the main chip selection of signal processing board and PC software is introduced.General functional block diagram of monopulseangle measurement and digital beamformingis given by first.Then main design modules of FPGA were introduced in detail.The dissertationintroducesfunctional modules and workflow of DSP.As a key component of multi-mode function implementation, module design of CPLD is describled in the end.With FPGA+DSP as the core architecture, andPC software as supplemented. Basied on these, thedissertation realize a multi-mode radar signal processing platform, and function and parameter of the platform is configurable.4. The dissertationestablishesa self-test system, the function and performance of the platform in different working parameters and the different echo is tested and analyzed. Accordingto these tests, the multi-mode radar signal processing platform hassteady function, reliableperformance. It can meet the development needs.
