In this paper, we research the combination of simulation technology and the test of mobile data service to make up the shortage of traditional test methods and to solve the practical problems of the work of network monitoring.At first, this paper investigates the current development and quality testing of mobile data services, and carries on the discussion and communication and monitoring testers, points out that the current bottleneck problem in mobile data service test. Putting forward the method and the thought of simulation testing. And analysis the feasibility and demand of the Simulation testing system. Carding and described the system functional requirements including the classification of test scenario, test results, etc in detail. Secondly, putting forward the software and hardware and function structure model of simulation test system and describe the design of each main module in detail. Finally, combining with long-term working experience in network monitoring, according to the system overall design and module detailed design, complete system development. Verifying the simulation test through the actual test analysis and business process analysis.Currently, mobile data service simulation test system has been deployed in the GPRS core network, and promotes the use in the monitoring center. The application of the system is greatly improving the efficiency of the monitoring, fault detection and timely rate, form a customer perception as the center, and high test specifications, monitoring targeted, fast response time rate of new collaborative approach to effectively improve network performance monitoring support. While the application of the system reduces the workload of network monitors testing to ensure the reliability of the data services and network devices running stability.
