Due to poor usability and low efficiency of the paper manual in military equipment has become increasingly prominent, and along with the development of information technology, the United States first proposed adopt IETM(Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) for equipment informationize management. To achieve information sharing and ease of management, the relevant organizations develop the S1000 D Standard for IETM industry. But the related systems for verifying compliance with this standard has become an urgent problem. Therefore, propose a compliance test program for the S1000 D standard is necessary.The S1000 D standard requirements from the data exchange format, technical documentation production workflow, publishing and so on. Based on the study of standards in other areas of compliance testing technology, in-depth analysis of the characteristics of the S1000 D standard, this artical designed and implemented a compliance test platform which based on the S1000 D standard, the main contents are as follows:1. Through study of the Category Partition method, and according to data storage of the S1000 D Standard, this article proposed an algorithm for test case auto generation which based on XML Schema document. This algorithm reduce the number of test cases by develop a criteria of test adequacy and analysis the element’s weight.2. According to the updated document features in the S1000 D Standard, and on the basis of exsiting verification algorithom for updated XML documents, this paper propose an incremental verification algorithom. At the same time, made an experimental analysis which show that this algorithm improve the efficiency of data stored document’s verification.3. On the basis of the above algorithm, this paper developed test procedures for the S1000 D Standard compliance test, and designed the test platform. This platform include privilege management, data storage, test case generation, XML validation, analysis of test results and other modules. Platform using layered architecture, and has scalability, ease of design. Finally, we build a test platform, and verify the feasibility of the proposed test program.The innovation of this paper is to improve the Category Partition method and appliy this to standard conformance test case genenration. While using XML as standard carrier of compliance tesing, make this test platform applied to other industry of complicance testing.Results of this study provide a solution to the S1000 D Standard compliance test, is available to promoting equipment information technology, and provide a reference for other industry complicance testing.
