Rapid development of mobile phones and other electronics leads to the invention of power bank which as a energy-storing device,has been widely applied in many fields. Inside the power bank is a built-in circuit board to protect it from being over-charged, over-discharged and over-current.Therefore, in order to make sure the built-in circuit functions well, an instrument is needed to test its quality. power bank synthetical test instrument is a such kind of instrument which is mainly used to test every parameter of quiescent current, overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, over-current protection and so on at a high speed and in advance. Nowadays, there exists more instruments to test lithium batteries than power bank. Based on the shortcomings described above, this article will present a research on a test instrument which is suitable for many kinds of power banks with its high testing speed and precision.This article will mainly introduce the systematic design of power bank synthetical test instrument and focus on the designs of the main control system, power simulator, electronic load system and so on.More details is as follows:Firstly, the design of the main control system. In the aspect of hardware, The structure characteristics of the peripheral circuit is discussed, based on the ARM9 hardware platform. In the aspect of software, the WinCE embedded operating system is customized and transplanted, and application software of power bank synthetical test instrument is designed.Secondly, the design of electronic load system. Based on the current requirement in this program, this article not only puts forward circuit hardware designs of the electronic load system but also analyzes the designs of control circuit, voltage driving circuit, power tube circuit and data acquisition circuit. Last but not the least, it designs the constant current control program、ADC circuit control program and DAC circuit control program.Thirdly, the design of power simulator. This article discusses the circuit design of power simulator and focuses on introducing the realization of controlled and high-precision constant voltage source circuit. At last, it presents the design of power simulator software on account of this system.Finally, after finishing power bank synthetical test instrument system, debugging of every module and the whole machine is carried out, which also has carried on the test again and again, every index meets its requirements.The power bank synthetical test instrument designed in this article is of high stability, high precision and high speed as well as convenient operation, which is beneficial to the production of circuit boards of the power bank.
