Radar visual simulation technology is combined with the technical features of radar system simulation and visual simulation, It take visual perception as a starting point, put the radar system as the research object, Provide the user in the form of a visual display of radar, target and environmental elements.Visual simulation study of radar technology, for realizing the data visualization, verify that the system reliability, shorten the research period, reduce research cost and so on all have huge role and far-reaching significance.This paper around the radar scene model is built and visual simulation scene interaction problem between elements, the level of detail, 3D terrain generation technology and collision detection technology, combined with some type of shore-based radar guided missile defense of the land and sea process, visual simulation experiment, the radar made model vivid, strong interactivity, real-time rendering, etc. This article provides the radar system design and validation of the basis of visualization.Their main research contents and methods are as follows:First of all, the visual simulation of radar object modeling is studied. With simulation based on object entities, with the aid of the key technology of computer graphics, combined with the characteristics of the visual simulation, made the model of radar,radar carrying platform, radar target elements, Achieve the purpose of " Virtualization tangible object, Physical virtualization ", and completed for radar simulation object " materialization ".Second, the real-time rendering of large terrain modeling is studied. According to the characteristics of the radar terrain visual simulation, Use the terrain modeling method based on the software, using the technology of level detail, Construct can be real-time rendering of large terrain model, solve the contradiction between the authenticity and real-time system operation model.Again, The visual scene simulation lifelike and immersive were studied. Collision detection method is applied to solve the problem of the beam and the target in the scene of collision, collision problem, missile and the target model and the collision problem of the wall, make the radar in the visual simulation logic relationship more consistent, visual effect is more outstanding. In addition, using the navigation path method to solve the path of route known objects in the scene simulation, the application of satellite toolkit can solve the problem of missile route planning, thus greatly enhance the system’s authenticity and immersive.Finally, Radar visual simulation experiment was carried out.
