In recent years, wireless communication technology developing rapidly, at the same time,people have the increasing demand of various positioning service.In the era of rapid development with Internet of things(IoT), RFID technology is widely used in the field of Internet of things, including the positioning technology.Than outdoor positioning technology is mature, relatively have a base station and GPS positioning applications, such as these are widely used in civil and military fields.Relative indoors, such as underground parking, mine, museums and large supermarkets, positioning technology is applied in the environment can improve the utilization rate of resources, and indoor positioning technology developing rapidly, currently is a hot spot of research at home and abroad.The indoor location based on RFID technology because of its low cost, high precision, reliable performance advantages, such as more get the favour of the researchers.The current RFID indoor locating algorithm in two dimensional space applications has been more mature, this article will mainly study of three-dimensional localization based on RFID technology.In this paper, the RFID indoor positioning system has carried on the systematic study and analysis the domestic and foreign in the 2D and 3D indoor positioning technology research status.The current situation of main application of indoor location technology, analyzes the several mainstream algorithm based on RSSI, including LANDMARC algorithm, VIRE algorithm, VLM algorithm, and for them to do the simulation test, comparison and analysis of their advantages and disadvantages.In addition, this paper mainly analyzes the VLM role in the three-dimensional indoor positioning algorithm.Possible blind spot for its positioning space coverage above problems, this paper proposes a solution for SF-VLM scheme.The scheme can solve the problem of VLM algorithm for blind spot effectively, make the reader to read and write range coverage rate reached 100%.Based on the positioning accuracy is not high, on the basis of its proposed a new algorithm of M-VLM, positioning accuracy could be improved by more than 30%.Finally, the paper set up an experiment platform, the VLM and M- VLM algorithm made a performance test in actual position environment. In a 10m*8m*3.5m indoor three-dimensional space, the final test results show that the VLM and V-VLM positioning error of the algorithm are within 1m,and M-VLM positioning error is less than 0.8m, the positioning performance increased by more than 20%, achieved good positioning effect, has good practical application value.
