Design And Implementation Of Laboratory Information Management System Of The Institute Of Blood Transfusion

With the development of science and technology and the continus growth of experiment records, the old the lab information management system can’t satisfy the modern management requirement. On the other hand, lab information quality of research institue will have direct affection on the next procedure. Even it will affect the whole planation. So it becomes our major work to manage the lab’s human resource and material resource effectively. As the result, the Laboratory Information Management System(LIMS)was born at the right moment.The Institute of blood Transfusion information management system is a software system which will manage the whole lab’s information effectively. The system’s obey the SOA service framework and adopted J2 EE, Browser/Server application framework. The system support most major operating systems, such as Windows, Unix, etc. The system also support Oracle 11 g and Weblogic(10.3) middleware. It adopted the popular Spring + Struts + Hibernate(SSH)framework and implement a reusable, multi-layer, cross-platform, secure and robust software system. The system can be bounded with the complicated information management system of the detection lab. The system features are extended and arrived at the expirations.The thesis is accomplished with the project creation, requirement analysis, coding, deployement. First, it describes the project’s background and the research result of lab information management system. It also describes the major job and the realistic sense of the article. Then it make introduction to management acknowledge and corresponding technology for the lab information management system. Then is the project requirement analysis and coding procedure with the object-oriented theory. Finally, we development the lab information management system according to detail project design with the Java development environment. The lab information management system is composed of blood detection management, instrument and equipment management, blood sample managemen, research material management, system management modules. Because of the thesis limit, it focus on the instruments and equipment management, research material management, system management modules which are the major job of myself. At the end, the thesis looks forward to the future.
