As an indispensable material base of national economic and social development, coal is the main energy in China. Coal enterprises, as the main pillar enterprises in China’s economic, has been playing an important role in the development of China’s economic. Nowadays, most of coal enterprise are operated and managed by using mechanized technology, which has increased the investment of coal mine equipment. A large number of coal enterprise, however, are still using the original manual mode to achieve the management of enterprise equipment information, which will lead many problems, such as tedious process, high inaccuracy rates, out-time respond, etc. It is very necessary to heighten the intelligence and efficiency of equipment management and strengthen the update rate.This paper will develop a coal mine equipment management system based on B/S mode against a background of the informatization construction of coal enterprise and referent the domestic and existing methods. This system will adhibit the software engineering theory, network, JSP, SQL Server and Servlet technology. The main objective goal of this paper is to realize the reasonable design, friendly interface, simple operation, high performance, the system security and stability. In view of these objectives, this paper has done the following work. Firstly, this paper depth analysis the nowadays status, feasibility and user demand, achieves the model of business, data and application and make the corresponding explanation. Secondly, according to the characteristics and operation of this system, this paper puts forward the access program B/S based on Web and introduces the system structure and the realization of its key technology. Thirdly, the outline design of this system. Fourthly, the detailed design of this system. Fifthly, the implementation and testing of the system. Sixth, the summary and prospect.In the development of this system, because of the insufficient energy, the restrictions of collecting data and personal ability and the technical level, and the complex network environment relating to the design, some problems still need more research and exploration. Thus we will continue to explore to solve these problems.
