Fixed assets management is always an important work of the assets management department. Although fixed assets management system based on information technology has already been used, but it is not mature, it is just a spreadsheet which will be deal with by artificial statistics. This method wastes time and energy. According to own actual work,the combination of C# language program design, relational database design, UML modeling design, the author has completed a fixed assets management system which is based on ASP.NET.Waterfall Model is the system software development mode. Visual Studio2012 is the system development platform. And SQL Server 2008 is the system background database. On the demand analysis of the system, the overall structure, overall flow, and overall data stream have been set up. Finally, the required system database has been designed and UML software model has been set up. After system design, software code has been written and tested.Fixed assets management system designed in this paper has a good user interface, standardized business process and a stabile background system. It meets the work flow and habits of fixed assets management division of CAAC Southwest Regional Administration. It can also count and analysis fixed equipment according to the national statistical classification standard. Based on a lot of data statistics, combining with the failure model theory, prediction algorithm of fixed assets’ s durable years has been proposed, which can be used to estimate the average service life of fixed assets.This system has been used by fixed assets management division of CAAC Southwest Regional Administration, and the effect is good. The user is also proposed to increase the mobile terminal APP, which can be used for further analysis of the late work of fixed assets use efficiency. This will be improved In future work.
