Design And Implementation Of Nursing Teaching Management System For Clinical Practice

The development of computer networking, especially the development of Internet, is so fast that all of us are considering how to apply the technology for our working. As a nursing teacher, I have been thinking about developing the practicing system for the students with nursing diplomat in vocational schools. Comparing with the traditional methods, this is surely a good way for them to have the virtue place for the practicing and then develop their skills during the practicing. It is also a good way for the management of the teachers and the hospital managers, who take part in the practice. Until today most of our study focuses on how to teach the students effectively. It is some kind of teaching method. It is not perfect for practicing their nursing skills. Developing a system based on the practicing requirement will help not only the quality of nursing practice, but also the students’ future employment.In order to solve the current practicing problems, this thesis explains how to develop the information management system for the nursing practice. Based on the trend of open source with IT area, this thesis will analyze not only the importance of the practicing system for the students with nursing diplomat, but also what to do and how to do with the development. The paper includes almost all the required information to develop and deploy a MIS(Management Information System). Every part has the needed detail information for the system. For example, in the last part of the thesis, it is the full introduction for the system function with its simulated interface. This paper includes all the steps of a system design such as the background introduction, project task, requirement analysis, general design, database design, and even the system test, etc.By the end of the paper, it is the test example of the system. By showing how to do with the students’ information and how to deal with the operations for the teachers, students, and managers, the system reveals the relations among them. This is very useful for the practicing management. After the complete testing, it proves that this is a reliable system and it will be a good base for the future development.
