Currently, the presentation of IaaS to the users is mostly in the form of platform. Enterprises build an infrastructure platform in the cloud which has the ability of services, and present to the users.Those platforms are relative expensive and is not very convenient to operate. A started with non-professionals background can hardly manage and maintain these platforms.During the research, a clear concept of cloud computing and the key technology, architecture model of IaaS infrastructure is fundamental. Though this part, readers could understand the theoretical background and basic knowledge.Then,start a series of solution design, including architecture design, platform requirements and build the cloud environment.Finally,select a appropriate open source cloud platform management software according to the size and purpose of the platform to implementation the platform.Combine with services and features of cloud computing, this paper proposes a research approach of building online learning platform based oncloud computing,and makes use of Google App Engine to develop a unified and open learning system based on the existing Google cloud computing platform,aiming at changing the shortcomings in the traditional construction of online learning platform. The details are as follows:First, research and analyze theories of online learning、cloud computing as wellas core architecture and interface services of Google App Engine;Second, analyze the distributed traditional construction mode of online learning platform in detail; to overcome its shortcomings, a research approach that build online learning platform based on cloud computing(referred to as cloud learning platform) isproposed, and the entire architecture and function requirements of the cloud learning platform form are analyzed and designed elaborately;Third,take advantage of Google App Engine、Eclipse and technologies of Java web to develop main functions of the online learning system(user management、learning resources management and interaction module) and elaborate how toimplement system interface, business logic, data persistence, system security and soon. By means of Google App Engine and Java web technology, main modules of theonline learning system based on Google cloud computing are achieved,which provides a basis for the feasibility of building an online learning platform based oncloud computing.Though this part, readers could understand the theoretical background and basic knowledge. Then, start a series of solution design, including architecture design, platform requirements and build the cloud environment. Finally, select a appropriate open source cloud platform management software according to the size and purpose of the platform to implementation the platform.
