Nowadays, every computer has a keyboard and mouse as the human-computer interaction devices. Although the keyboard and mouse make us more convenient to use a computer, the drawbacks of this common human-computer interaction technology becomes increasingly obvious. For example when a speech goes to its climax, the speaker pauses and has to go to the podium, click the mouse, and make the slides scroll to the next page then continue to speak. This is an unpleasant experience, whether listening or speaking. In recent years, smart phones are rapidly growing worldwide, especially these smart devices with Android systems. The first three quarters of 2013, according to statistics global smartphone sales grew more than 42 percent, and occupied an increasing number of mobile phone market shares. One advantage of using a smart phone is that the user is more likely to carry the phone throughout the day since it is seen as indispensable in daily living. Everyday interaction with the phone makes the interface more familiar to the user. A cell phone is also less intrusive than dedicated devices. Therefore, we want to develop a virtual input device running on Android to make human-computer interaction fun and easy. This paper focuses on smart phones were analyzed, while taking advantage of the structure and working principle of the Android platform is analyzed on the Android system approach and principles, methods of local calls wireless connections were studied. The advantage of the desktop computer is very fast, but it’s not for handheld. The mobile phone has small size, light weight and many advanced sensors, but it’s relatively slow. The goal of this project is to develop an application on the Android platform to simulate the common functions such as PC mouse and keyboard.
