The study based on mobile phone–TV using and media consuming of the floating population in Beijing seeks to investigate influences on the new generation of migrant works in the process of integration into the city from the new medium mobile phone–TV such as city experiences, self identity, leisure consumption. And then, dig some other positive deep social influences and put forward some feasible medium optimization strategies.10 objects have been interviewed, and the study is a qualitative research. Someone who has rural household registration and works in Beijing and between 16 to 35 years old and consumes mobile phone–TV will be the interview objects. They nearly almost take a job in business services area without migrant works and graduated from primary school or secondary school.We found that the objects have got news information and entertainment in the process of mobile phone–TV using and media consuming, and position themselves relative to their city life as well. However, some factors such as economy factor, culture factor, restrict their knowing and using about mobile phone–TV. And mobile phone–TV hasn’t fully played functions owing to its limitation.As far as it’s concerned, mobile phone–TV has some influences in the process of the new generation of migrant works’ integration into the city, but the position influences are weak in consideration of obstacles. Therefore, the media strategy must be adjusted to find an optimal path, on the other hand, the new generation of migrant works need to improve their medium literacy and occupation skill. The migrant works can achieve Integration into the city smoothly and continuous improving the level of life, with the external supporting.
