Network Control System, referred to as NCS,produced by the interacting of communication, computer technology, control theory,it absorbs the advantages of many disciplines, with a new concept to lead innovation in the field of control.The controllers, sensors, actuators, and other control modules of the Network Control System communicate with each other through private or public network,witch makes it has many advantages to traditional control system.Such as laying low cost, easier to maintain expansion, higher reliability and flexibility.But the introduction of the network, will induce new problems, such as network latency, packet loss, packet reordering, etc.These issues will affect the control effect,and cause the control system instability,so that causing huge losses to the production.In this paper, considered the network control system’s problems,design a simulation platform to study the effect of delay, packet loss and network load to the control system.Also, try to introduce the Internet to the industrial control process,and use the platform designed by this paper to study the characteristic of it.This paper,with the use of VC / C # programming language,socket communications, GDI drawing, SQL, file stream technology,develop a simulation platform that can run on the real Internet. The platform provides real-time data storage, simulation curve display and analysis of latency and packet loss,design Internet sending, receiving interface for the control system network simulation module to communicate through the real Internet, research networked control system based on Internet properties by example.
