| The caricature during the war of Resistance against Japan makes an important role in mobilizing the people to participate in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression armed and Japanese arms and culture aggression. It especially counts than other press media in a clear understanding of the current situation in the education of the people, encouraging and promoting the establishment of the military soldier morale and other anti-Japanese national united front. However, previous researches on the war educational research neglect the educational value of the war comics. In this paper, it is mainly based on almost seventy cartoons of the caricature during the war of Resistance against Japan in Au Scours de la Patria, using literature and narrative research methods. I try to give a general description of the overall situation of the war comics, focusing on analysis demonstrate its educational function, historical, experience to provide a reference for contemporary education.The paper starts with the analysis of the national contradiction and the international situation. It analyzes ethnic tensions and the international situation, explores the background of the caricature during the war of Resistance against Japan in Au Scours de la Patria. At that time, the national contradiction between China and Japan was deepened, China needed to establish the anti-Japanese national united front; Followed by establishing background, that is, in order to better promote the anti-Japanese national united front policy of the communist party of China, the Anti-Japanese War caricature, as a form of simple press, enabled the people to better understand the situation of the war of resistance against Japan.The paper analyzes an overview of the comics in national salvation times. The publication date of the Anti-Japanese War caricature focused on 1936 and 1937, and relatively few in 1935 and 1938; the Anti-Japanese War caricatures in the headline of news pictures were 8%, according to the general newspapers and news picture proportion. The Anti-Japanese War caricatures were relatively low, but they facilitated the overall reports to assist the fight. The reprinted of the caricatures during the war of Resistance against Japan in Au Scours de la Patria were from most of the domestic and the Soviet union of the more important newspapers.According to the specific analysis of the caricatures during the war of Resistance against Japan in Au Scours de la Patria, the paper devises the Anti-Japanese War caricatures into three educational functions. The first is the political education function. The Anti-Japanese War caricatures are based on the effects of the education in politics, which are partially related to political events such as north China events and the July 7th incident reports,to set up of the anti-Japanese national united front, spread the information related to politics in order to educate the people to know the track of current events, and to encourage the contribution to the war of resistance; Followed by emotional education function, the Anti-Japanese War caricatures infect military and civilian by themselves, inspire enthusiasm of the war of resistance against Japan; Finally is culture education function. The war of resistance comic makes people change in mind and thinking mode transformation, and wants to save the will of the national culture.The paper reveals the historical significance and contemporary enlightenment of the educational function of the Anti Japanese War caricature. It is fully affirmed the Anti Japanese War caricature by its political, emotional, and cultural and educational functions, improving the citizens’ participation in the great historical significance of the cultural consciousness of the war of resistance against Japan. In virtue of cartoon education function, the cultivation of patriotism, aesthetic ability and innovative thinking bring profound inspiration to the contemporary education. |
