Virtualization is an important technology which supports current Internet service. With the development of computer hardware, NUMA(Non Uniform Memory Access) architecture server is widely used. But early virtualization technology can not adapt to this architecture. This thesis focuses on this problem and puts forward several solutions about increasing performance of virtualization technology in NUMA architecture.In current virtualization circumstance, the operation system running in virtual machine may cause a performance decreasing problem because of not knowing itself running in NUMA architecture hardware. This thesis provides a set of solutions about VNUMA(Virtual Non Uniform Memory Access) virtual machine creation methods and schedule strategies to solve these problems, including VNUMA virtual machine node-bind based creation mechanism, memory workload based initial placement algorithm, processor and memory workload based scheduler algorithm and migration mechanism for scheduling which do not break VNUMA structure. We implement a system in open source virtualization system KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) called VNUMA-CS which includes the feathers introduced before.This thesis also finishes the performance test of VNUMA creations system and scheduling system. The result shows our system cut down more than 5% benchmark run-time than the common algorithm in the same field of current industry in 57.8% situation. In 22.5% situation, we have less than 5% run-time cut. And only in 12.5% situation,we are a bit worse than current industry.
