With the rapid development of mobile internet, mobile services are gradually applied to traditional travel industry, besides, more and more travelling mobile applications arethriving. According to Internet Development Statistics Report of China, by the end of June,2014, the amount of Chinese Internet users have been 632 million, including 527 million mobile phone users. Internet popularity rate in China has been 46.9%. Among all kinds of internet devices, mobile phone is the most popular device because of 83.7% utilization rate. In the future, the opportunity of travel industry is mobile internet. Internet companies such as Xiecheng, Alibaba, Tencent, Baidu and Yilong have started to invest power to travelling applications. And at the same time, based on different consumer groups, different consumption steps, and different consumption experience, applications in niche markets are increasing rapidly. However, during the development of these applications, more and more usability problems appear and lead to bad experiences in use scenario. Usability of interface is an important evaluation index to evaluate the mobile applications and it deeply influences the user experience. Therefore, lots of technology companies pay more and more attention to improvement of mobile interface.This research chooses two typical sharing travelling applications (BreadTravel and TripDiary) to do comparative study. Aiming at four pages in both apps, homepage, detail page, sharing page, and list page, the research combines traditional usability test and eye movement experiment, comparatively analyzes the usability problems in two applications, and comes up with a method to quantize mobile interface usability. The study provides a way to solve usability problems for designers and improves the usability evaluation system.
