With the rapid development of computer science and technology,Electronic Design Automation technology have become more and more important for circuit designers in the field of circuit Design. The development of EDA technology have ensure the speed, quality and accuracy for various stages of work in the whole IC industry.There is no doubt that In numerous EDA tool oftware circuit simulation is the core of them. Because of the Spice simulation application is simple and high accuracy, it is welcomed by many circuit designers. Many circuit simulation of EDA software make use of Spice simulation program to complete.Before Spice simulator simulate the circuit, we must get the model of the device firstly, and the model is the mathematical abstraction of the actual physical device. If the Spice simulator uses this model which can characterize the electrical properties of the physical device in the simulation, Spice simulator can do a very real simulation of the characteristics of the actual circuit. If the Spice simulator doesn’t use this model which can characterize the electrical properties of the physical device in the simulation, then the simulation will be far away of the true circuit characteristics. Now in the field of integrated circuit design, after completing circuit design, the tape-out spends hundreds of thousands or even hundreds of million money, so it becomes a very important thing to improve the success rate of the flow. However, the success rate of tape-out is largely influenced by the reliability of circuit simulation. Circuit simulation’s reliability has a great relationship with the accuracy of the model, so having a exact device model has become a very necessary thing for circuit designers. Therefore, it can greatly save their time and effort that the modeling staffs have a quick extraction model software.However, there are only a few of foreign company’s products which are simulation and verification software for Spice models on the market currently. A license for these products in the market will take more than one million mostly. Our country in the last century had also been trying to develop this type of software, but for various reasons did not form a marketable product. Therefore, based on these issues in this article, we encountered at the design and implementation of an integrated circuit device model parameter extraction software products and solutions to these problems in the hope that readers of this article and share what this experience.In the first chapter, this paper introduces the IC model and device modeling software and its general situation, Then describes the purpose and the conclusions. In the second chapter, this paper introduces several popular device modeling software, and analyzed their advantages and disadvantages respectively. In The third chapter, our own software has been introduced in this paper, including the software function definitions and software architecture. In The fourth chapter, this paper introduces the realization of each module in detail. In the fifth chapter, this paper extract an inductance and verified these parameters.
