With the development of the going, especially with the rapid development of mobile Internet, navigation and positioning attract more and more people’s attention, while the location of the service has become a popular industry currently. There are indoor and outdoor positioning technologies in positioning technology. For outdoor obtain location information, global positioning system(GPS) and network Assisted GPS(A-GPS) are well known with its high positioning accuracy, and at present outdoor positioning technology is already quite mature; However, in the indoor environment, indoor positioning technology in the current situation is not very mature yet, so to find an effective positioning technology program has become a key research in location-based services now. With the advent of wireless sensor network technology, especially as a new ZigBee short-range wireless sensor network technology, ZigBee is a kind of effective solution for indoor positioning for more and more people to explore and research.ZigBee wireless sensor network technology as indoor positioning research program is selected in this paper. After the the significance and background of the research are described, the wireless location technology is detailed introduction, and then compared with other wireless location technology, ZigBee wireless sensor network technology has its advantages as a technical basis to build the indoor positioning system. However, ZigBee indoor positioning accuracy is restricted in the complexity of the indoor environment, without additional hardware conditions, this paper aims to optimize ZigBee indoor positioning accuracy by indoor positioning method for fingerprint database based on RSSI, and the feasibility of scheme is proposed, namely the signal source of processing and positioning algorithms.Through the study of the complex environment of the indoor environment, in this paper, the signal source received by the mobile node need to be proposed by filtering, including the Kalman filter and Gaussian filter both. Experiments can be drawn, in the optimal case, in the fingerprint database positioning method in two stages using Kalman filter processing mode of the signal source, using the nearest neighbor algorithm to locate the positioning calculation, the positioning error will eventually suppress 1.86 m or less, than the result of the filtering process without making improved 0.1m, the positioning accuracy has been improved to some extent.Based on the basis of conventional positioning algorithm research, in this paper three new proposed location algorithm have proposed, namely virtual space division fingerprint location algorithm, weighted distance fingerprint database indoor positioning algorithms, fuzzy clustering indoor positioning algorithms. In the best case, the virtual space division fingerprint location algorithm can be positioned within the error suppression at 1.50 m, weighted distance fingerprint database indoor location algorithm can be positioned within the error suppression at 1.57 m, fuzzy clustering indoor positioning algorithms can be positioned within error suppression at 1.47 m, so that positioning accuracy has been optimized to some extent.
