Abstract/Summary:
With the development of communication and Internet technology, the PSTN network, based on the traditional PBX mode, no longer satisfied with the needs of multiple data services, more and more people are getting the favor of the IP-PBX with the core of Softswitch. Meanwhile, the majority of universities in China have realized the campus wireless network coverage. However, the price and maintenance costs of the implementation scheme and equipment of IP-PBX are expensive, so it is unaffordable for majority of universities. Therefore, it is significant to design and implement an IP-PBX system which has low cost of development and maintenance and convenient to operate and configure.The paper combines network resources of Nanchang University, applying Asterisk and J2 EE technology to design and implement an IP-PBX system. The system only needs an ordinary PC server and configures a voice interface card can implementation of voice soft switching function. System is divided into call control module and call information management module. In the call control module, we use AGI interface to realize the function of voice call, voice conference, call billing and voice mail message. Using database to contact with the call control module, we realized the management of the call information in the call information management module.This paper further studied the technology of Softswitch, focused on discussing principle of IP-PBX systems and related technology of VoIP. This paper based on the Graduate Innovation Fund and strives to design the implementation scheme of IP-PBX communication system based on Asterisk. Then we make the detailed design and analysis on call control module and call information management module. Finally, the implementation and testing process of the main functional modules is presented. The testing results show that the function modules of system all meet the design requirement. So, the IP-PBX system described in this paper equips with the property of stable performance, simple operation and maintenance, easy to expand. It’s suitable for majority of colleges and universities.
