The WLAN Coverage Scheme Design

The rapid development of wireless communication technology has brought a whole new experience for network access, its mobility and portability are two reasons for the users’choice. WLAN technology is one of the representatives of the wireless communication technology developments, it has an increase in the wireless signal coverage and the the fast and reliable network service,comparing to the traditional access technology.This paper studies the WLAN coverage scheme design, and the article firstly analyzes the selected topic background and significance, the development of the domestic and foreign present situation. Secondly this article mainly analyzes the features of WLAN from three aspects such as the coverage requirements analysis of the WLAN construction requirements, studies the system structure of WLAN, points out that the wireless local area network can be divided into 5 layer structure, that the evolution of WLAN system capacity upgrade scheme can be performed from the user capacity two and the coverage area, that emphatically analyzes WLAN coverage design principle and architecture, also that the clever WLAN data forwarding mode, and that we use the IP network as a WLAN carrying network. This paper also analyzes the wireless MESH network access capacity and return capacity, designs that puts forward the design of WLAN future system on the basis of the architecture.Next, the campus and street WLAN coverage scheme examples are given, in detail, especially the campus scheme design including indoor-design part and outdoor coverage, to maximize the investment benefit and covering effec at the same time. Then, a network management system, security solutions and a billing system and the WLAN value-added services are proposed. At last, the content of this article makes a summary, and put forward the development direction of WLAN coverage system.
