In the present time,with the rapidly development of wireless communication,people's requirement for the transmission rate and reliability is increasing.At this point,the appearance of Muti-input and Muti-outpt(MIMO)can meet the requirement well.MIMO system can increase the channel capacity by enhance the number of transmit and receive antennas and without increase the spectral and transmit power.As the its great potential of increasing the channel capacity,MIMO system has been or will be adapted by a lot of standardization committees,likes IEEE 802.11n,WiMAX,LTE and so on.The MIMO channel capacity can increase linearly with the enhancement of the smallest number of transmit or receive antennas.In theory,the growth can be unlimited.However,in practice,the channel capacity will be affected by the correlation between different channels.As one of the most important part of the MIMO system,the MIMO antennas must have a low correlation coefficient,which is a challenge for the antenna's design.Especially the antennas operating in mobile device,they must have a compact structure and satisfied the wireless communication's requirement for antenna's isolation,efficiency and gain.And considering the application in muti-band,the antenna is usually required to operate in more than one band.In our dissertation,we try to analysis the factors of channel capacity and complete a antenna which can operate in tri-band for WLAN mobile terminal.
