With the introduction of smart grids and digital grid, three-dimensional simulation of its advanced concepts and technologies used in a growing number of substation’s designing and practicing. Traditional three-dimensional simulation simply be described from the model’sgeometric level, or lack of appropriate semantic description, or model’s relative semantic information belonging to different functional modules separated from each other, can not be natural, intrinsic connected. Using the appropriate semantic description forthree-dimensional scene of substation has become the focus and difficultproblems in the research field ofvirtual reality.In this paper, we firstly use 3ds Max modeling software to build a three-dimensional scene model of substation, including transformers, disconnectors and ground, walls, buildings, use FME model format conversion tool to get the data set of.gml format. Then offs and derived from CityGML standard model of urban facilities CityFurniture topic, we give the definition of semantic Schema informationon model of three-dimensional substation’sscene. Citing the defined Schemal prototypeorganize three-dimensional scene data. Combined with geometry, appearance and other aspects of CityGML characteristics,we translate the three-dimensional model of the substation scene into a model with the relevant attributes of characteristic geometry, topology, semantics and appearance. Then use Qt and OSG developed for each module base on real-world scenarios, add texture graphics and text annotations. In this paper,we break the shortcomings of a conventional three-dimensional simulating system, give a three-dimensional scene of substation semantic information; build a prominent geometric information, semantic information of three-dimensional substation scene model and design a good interactive and operability information management systemof the substation; Through this system the user can add a scene node in turn under realistic environment, add texture and Chinese marked scene object, increasing the fidelity and flexibility of the virtual environment; Search query and interactively query and other semantic information related operations on the device information, increase interactivity of three-dimensional graphics; Using chunked random sampling and bounding box collision detection technologies to optimize chinese mark on the scene to make it look simple. Combining the real word and virtual reality technology to enhance the sense of reality, with a high practical significance for leadership decision-making, personnel training and equipment maintenance, the scene in terms of monitoring.
