Data Analysis Research Based On Data Mining In Nanchang Water Company

In recent years, with the development of information technology, followed by the rapid increase of database capacity accordingly. Data warehousing and data mining technologies serves as a key technology for intelligent data analysis which draws more and more people’s attention. Although water firm has accumulated a large amount of business data, and invested a lot of money in building information systems,however, these data are difficult as valuable information for decision-making. So,how to get useful information out of this accumulated data, has become a key issue for most water companies.Nanchang Water Group obtained the cooperation and support of the Nanchang water group based on the accumulation of data resources, data warehousing, and data mining on Enterprise intelligent calculation and analysis of important issues. In this paper and intelligent data analysis carried out a detailed study on the data warehouse,the main research contents are as follows:(1) Analysis of Nanchang water industry group data warehouse design process,research on data model of data warehouse design, data warehouse, data warehouse management and maintenance, focusing on the OLAP cubes technology.(2) For SQL Server environments for a detailed description of data analysis,focusing on the Analysis Services service.(3) Based on the above research on key technologies, Nanchang water group has marketing data for the study, water industry group data warehouse model design of Nanchang, and created a data warehouse in SQL Server 2005 platform, on the basis of OLAP analysis and data mining, and its effects were evaluated.
