In 1970 s, Chua.L.O predicted the existence of the fourth basic circuit element memristor which describe the relationship between the charge and flux. His paper which publisher later prove the existence of the element. In 2008, HP lab reported that memristor exists. The memristor is a nonlinear resistance. It has great potential applications in nonlinear circuit and the ultra large scale integrated circuit. The memristor has no background of non-commercial and non-application in engineering field. This paper studies the memristor equivalent model of basic series and parallel equivalent network and its circuit characteristics, explores the application of memristor in chaotic system, designs a system of QR code encryption based on the application of chaotic sequence. It provides a example in the field of information security. The main research and innovation of the paper are listed as followed:(1) This paper analyes memristor model and its port properties. Built a model in Simulink. The memristor mathematical model is discreted and discrete mathematical model is obtained. The circuit model of memrister is made by choosing circuit elements, writing program. The model has the same characteristics with the HP mermristor model. The testing shows that this model is basically consistent with the HP laboratory model.(2) Based on established memristor model,This paper analyzed the derivation of the memristor mathematical model, obtained the equivalent model of the memristor in series and parallel, then used the established memristor model to do the memristor series and parallel equivalent test of meristor. The testing shows that this analysis is right.(3) The concept of the memristor is promoted to the memory element. A basic system contained memory element is researched. The dynamic Characteristics of the system is studied including chaotic system bifurcation diagram and Lyapunov exponent. The chaotic digital sequences obtained by discrete the model is tested by using NIST. The test shows that the sequences can be used for encrypting information.(4) This paper designed a system by using algorithm combining chaotic with AES and chaotic pseudo random sequence. This system can realize the encryption and decryption of QR code,it is tested by practical application.
