Research On The Operations Of The Third Party Reverse Logistics Enterprises Based On The Internet Of Things

Shortage of resources and environmental pollution are growing, every news reportand personal experience affects all the public’s mind. Especially environmentalists,appealing to businesses and governments strongly to act to improve our livingenvironment.Disposing of waste materials closely related with environmental protection notonly causes public’s attention, but also gives a business opportunity for numerouscompanies. Reverse movement of waste materials has become a hot topic in business.On the one hand, the recycling of waste materials achieves a secondary or even multipleuse of resources, which improves resource utilization, reducing profligacy andconsumption of resources, improving the social and economic benefits; on the otherhand, it provides an opportunity for emergence of new markets, independence of thisactivity contributes to the formation of a new market which contains huge businessopportunities. The introduction of environmental policy, as well as the attractive ofpotential profit, causing the appearance of many third party reverse logistics enterprisesin the market.Third party reverse logistics enterprises has many advantages compared withproprietary reverse logistics. On the one hand, outsourcing reverse logistics can reducetheir operational costs and operational risks to a certain extent; on the other hand, thirdparty reverse logistics enterprises can provide customers with professional andsystematic service. But the development of itself also has some limitations. It is notenough that the exchange of information in operations of each section links of thereverse logistics, and the utilization of human resources, financial resources,substances and other resources is inadequate. In2009, the Internet of Things as one ofthe five major new strategic industries has been included in the government work report,which has become an important strategic about economic growth and technologicaldevelopment. The introduction of the Internet of Things, will enhance thecommunication of information within the system, and simplify operational processes. Ithas greatly promotion about getting demand information of customer, recoveryefficiency of waste materials, dismantling and classification of the materials, warehousemanagement, and so on. Accordingly, it improves the efficiency of business operationsgreatly. Through such as literature analysis and news reading, this paper analyzed the issueof the feasibility and the obstacles existed in the operation about third-party companiesentering the reverse logistics market, and presented the improvement to these issuesbased on this new perspective of the Internet of Things. Establishing a evaluationsystem about the operational efficiency of third party reverse logistics enterprises followthe principles of the design of the index system on the basis of the above, analyzing forthe sample of enterprises with respect to the changes in operational status before andafter the usage of the Internet of Things use Analytic Hierarchy Process（AHP）andFuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method, and it has verified the role of the Internet ofThings to improve and enhance the operational efficiency of the third party reverselogistics enterprises.
