Design And Implementation Of A RFID Based Intelligent Port Operation Management Platform

With the application and development of computer, network andcommunication technology, information technology is sweeping the world, which hasdramatic change and improve the social mode of production and life.Facing with theinternational competitors and development of hinterland economic integration, themodern ports need to deploy informationization strategies so as to enhance theservices quality and reinforce the internal process engineering.This paper is based on the rfid technology and the internet technologies tomeet the needs of port intelligent operation management platform and regulate theoperation process,take Haikou port as the main case, combine the loose informationresources together and put forward the construction information platform based onrfid technology intelligent operation of port. After a long process of overall planning,system designing and actual implementation, the platform has been put into practicalusage, The passenger ferry intelligent platform is an important content of constructionof port intelligent operation management.Through adopting C/S and B/S combinedarchitecture in the oracle database environment, the platform is mainly consist of threesystems-passenger ticketing management system, passenger operation system, andfield service systems. The platform helps to integrate the information resources,reduce operation costs, and finalize the intelligent operation management. Theresearch is a meaningful effort in pushing the port digitization, and provides possiblesolution for medium and small ports in China.
