Color reproduction is an important technical means of the modern information transmission.Neutral grey (Gray) is the basis of high-quality color reproduction. It acts as a bridge of theconversion between full color and neutral color. The Neutral grey reproduction based on spectralmatch model is current research focuses in the color reproduction field. It is of great significance tothe high-fidelity reproduction of color and cross-media color reproduction.This paper used digital printing as the research object. The spectral match model was used tosolve the accurate reproduction of different order grey in digital printing based on the target black.Through the research of the process of digital printing, the parameters of process control and thestability of digital inkjet, the paper established the relationship of CMY three-color mixture of ashand equal-lightness monochrome black spectrum. And it came up with a model simultaneouslywhich based on neighborhood search and interpolation iterative method to realize the reversesolution of CMY node value. Finally RRMS, GFC and chromatic aberration Δ E00, which workedas the evaluation parameters of spectral matching accuracy are used.It is indicated from the experimental results and practical production application that the graybalance model of the mixed color and the reverse solution model in this paper are able to accuratelypredict the gray spectrum data and the CMY ratio. The spectral GFC has high matching precision. Itis important to improve the digital printing technology and production process. The accurate colorreproduction and gray balance have an important reference value and guidance for manufacture.
