With the development of technology and materials,3D printing technology has been proved to be a reasonable and efficient manufacturing method for mulit-material part with complex structure,which forming part layer by layer.In this paper,we study the multi-material 3D printing technology based on digital light process.The concrete research content is as follows:(1)Aiming at the mulit-material 3D printing process based on digital light process,the principles of pull-up and sank-down mulit-material stereolithography are analyzed respectively.The mechanical structure and key components of the two types equipment have been designed.Finally,the assembly and commissioning of the two pieces of equipment has been completed and the manufacturing test has been carried out.(2)Based on the Visual Studio 2013 and OpenGL graphics library,the development of the host computer software system for multi-material 3D printing based on digital light process has been completed,which mainly includes human-computer interaction interface design,communication protocol with control board and 3D model slicing to generate 2D image algorithm.(3)Aiming at the pull-up multi-material 3D printing technology based on digital light process,the multi-material model representation and slicing method is proposed,and some multi-material 3D printed tensile test pieces are manufactured by the equipment researched and developed in this paper.The relationship between the strength of 3D printed parts and material mixing ratio and scale has been studied preliminary.(4)Aiming at the sank-down multi-material 3D printing based on digital light process,the relationship between curing strength and thickness of and exposure time was studied,and the mathematical equation between strength and exposure time has been fitted and calibrated.Finally,a method to improve the surface after the support is removed has been put forward by controlling the strength of support smaller than the part.Through the above research work,we have developed the mulit-material 3D printing equipment and software system based on digital light process,and manufactured many multi-material 3D models successfully,which proved the possibility of using this technology to manufacture multi-material part.We also explored the mechanical properties of 3D printing part with different material mixing ratio,scale and exposure time.Finally,the optimization method of 3D printing process was proposed,which achieved good result.
