Diet therapy is one of the baisc treatment for diabetic patients, itapplies to all kinds of diabetic patients, and through every stages ofdiabetes treatment. Diet therapy’s main effect is to reduce the burdenof islet, make the blood sugar and lipid levels tend to be normal, makethe ideal weight maintained at normal level, and make patients energetic,it is an effective method for relevant prevention and treatment to variousacute or chronic diabetes complications. Along with medication, it canimprove overall health of the patient. Traditional diabetes’diet recipewas designed by a dietitian or doctor, due to the writing process is verycomplicated, the recipe is fixed, and not easy to do accord with the tasteof the patients, this part for the dietitian is a heavy work, reduces thenutritionist’s work efficiency. At the same time, the patient’s diet canfully meet a dietitian prepared meals is also a not easy thing, especiallyfor hospitalized patients. Hospitalized patients often order take-out.Patients’ intake of nutrients can not be known by dietitian in this way,andit make the following treatment inaccurate. In science and technology sodeveloped today, therefore, how to use computer and wireless network tohelp diabetic patients’ diet therapy has become the common concern andresearch problem.This paper take the hospitalized diabetic patients’ and dietitian‘srequirement as the core, use computer’s strong capacity and wirelessnetwork’s convenient way of communication, combined with the basicprinciples of diet therapy, refer to the existing software’s function,design and develop a diabetic patients’ diet management platform. Theplatform through a set of scientific diet management process to managementdiabetic patients’ diet to assist the dietitian to complete diettreatment of hospitalized patients.The diabetic patients’ diet management platform Consists of two parts,background management system and diabetic patients order software based on android. It implements the patients’ basic information management,the menu management, the order management, nutrition recommendations,etc.The dietitian backgroud management system use the SSM (Struts2+Spring+Mybatis) three layer architecture to implement a B/S system, theUI use DWZ framework. Dietitian through the background management systeminterface to send a request, the request is submitted to the logic layerand be processed, then it is persisted by the data layer. The three layerarchitecture clear and conducive to future expansion. The system providepatients’ information management, nutrition menu management andstatistical information management three big functions. When dietitianinput the patient’s personal information into the system, the system willaccording to these information generated the patient’s nutrition planautomatically. Nutrition plan consist of patients’ daily energy, dailyenergy intake ratio for three meals and nutrition intake ratio every meal,etc. Dietitian make the small dish based on the ingredients list, thenthe system will calculate the energy value of food and related nutrientcontent automatically. At present, diabetes nutrition software isgenerally recommend the exchange of nutrition or ingredients. This paperlet of the platform to calculate the exchange and ingredients. Combinationof ingredients into a dish is accomplished by nutritionists, and the dishmade into small pieces. So that can make patients more convenient, andthe small dish can make patients to enjoy a variety of flavor food, alsocan make the energy intake and nutrients more precise meets therequirements. Dietitian can count food and spend patients take every mealby use the statistical information management function. The dietitian caneasily manage patients’ dietary information by background managementsystem.Patients order software application is based on the Android. Itcatches patients’ request by the interface, then use the asynchronous tasksend the request to the server as http request, the result which beprocessed by server be sended back to the android client and displayed.It provides order founction and the nutrition analysis function. Patientscan order meal by use Android pad in the anywhere where the wirelessnetworks covered in the hospital. Patients can order what they like via mobile devices. And the system will be according to the patient’sindividual situation constraints for eating, in meet the personal needand in line with diet therapy constraints. Energy intake diagram can beseen by patients use the software, it shows the energy intake every daysince in hospital.This platform provides the food recommend function according topersonal preferences of patients. Oder data won’t be as big as electricbusiness platform, and data accumulation also not so fast, so such ascollaborative filtering algorithm is not very suitable. Combined with thecold start problem, so here use the based on constraints and randomrecommend algorithm. Using the random recommend algorithm to solve theset menu recommendation problem, and use the based on constraint algorithmrecommended to solve the single dish recommendation problem.The diabetic patients’ diet management platform can solve the problemwhich hard to execute the hospitalized patients’ diet therapy well.Through the fine-grained management of hospitalized patients with diet,it is expected to improve the hospitalized patients compliance, savedoctors’ and dietitians’time. Bring the patients who in self managementinto the platform and help more diabetic patients to manage their dietis the next work.
