In the case of sub-health patients becoming more for the Economic development, social demand of Sub-health treatment expand a lot. The one-to-one treatment is the main method, but it can’t fit for the huge demand. Meanwhile, requirements of "Diet recommended" accuracy is rising, TCM needs to be improved for its lack of error alarm mechanism. A stability, reliability system was needed to meet this demand.Based on the constitution theory, this thesis developed an expert system which can be used in constitution determination and the diet prescription. The system used the straight and polyline method to access knowledge, represented knowledge with object-oriented and production, used fuzzy inference system to reason the result. For the function of constitution determination, the thesis designed a medical knowledge model based on process-level. The solution of the model was difficult due to the fuzzy in it, so based on the fuzzy theory and the gray theory, this thesis defined multidimensional membership, which can be used in the decision algorithm of the given of diet prescription. This algorithm is stratification for the process level of the diet recommendation, the multidimensional correlation in the constitution reasoning rules. The entire reasoning process is divided into certain reasoning sub-processes which cascade each other. Each sub-process has its own reasoning strategy. With establishing of the fuzzy evaluation matrix in the multidimensional membership, the algorithm gives the intermediate results and uses it in Vague set to calculate results. Compared with the results of the traditional recommend and the use of the diet recommended algorithm, the results given by the algorithm described herein is consistent with the expected results.On the basis of the system requirements, the system was implemented on the ARM9development board. Used Mini2440as a terminal, PC as the server. The terminal used Linux as the operating system, Qt Embedded as a graphics library. Server software written in cross-platform Qt, has the support for Windows/Linux/Mac OS, that means server deployment can be completed by installing of the server software.
