With the development of IT technology, business and IT become more and moreclosed. The traditional Data Center is confronted with a big challenge in costs,integration of network equipment, security and the management of energy. While thecloud computing undoubtedly plays an important role in the development of DataCenter. And the Cloud Data Center has covered a new chapter page of the data center,and gives a series of new changes for the Internet Data Center. Besides, thetechnology of virtual machine migration has changed the original networkarchitecture. It requires the network to support a wide range of two lever domain. Andthen it changes the dominance of the traditional three-lever network rule. However, italso brings many problems in the large Layer2network, such as in the expanding ofinternet, the selection of forwarding path, the communication, the merging ofequipment and so on. In the current, many running network protocols can’t solvethose above-mentioned problems, and also can’t meet the needs of current networksituation. To solve such problems, a suitable protocol named SPBM uses in the CloudData Center’s large Layer2network, and the paper makes the following studies:Firstly, this paper introduces that SPBM sets up the channels through sendingneighbor packet, and each node can communicate with others to collect alllink-information with such channels.Secondly, according to the link-information, each node can calculate the dataforwarding path. It analyzes the packets’ message, then calculates the SPT. While ifthere is a loop path, SPBM can select a suitable path base on the special tag in theLSP packet to prevent with the wasting of Link resource, besides it can achieve theload balancing in network.Finally, to improve the security, it achieves a real-time backup function forSPBM to improve the ability of the disaster recovery. If when the main control boardsuffers from an accident and workes wrong, the standby one can smooth recover thedata which is backuped before in error moment. The real-time backup function canensure the forwarding of the entire network business without interrupting.Through the study of SPBM, and then we designed the application of SPBMcoordinating with other technology. The experiment results show that it can correctly send and receive packets, analysis message, calculate, get the forwarding path andreal-time backup.
