The Design And Implementation Of Student Management System In Vocational College

In recent years, due to the national support and strong social demand, the scale of vocational colleges is expanding. It results in lots of problems, including a college with multiple campuses, decentralized departments and agencies, a number of students, which have increased the difficulty of student management. With the continuous progress of information construction, Colleges and universities also should use network, computers and other modern information technology to build modern student work management system. It can improve the work efficiency, reduce working cost, standard operation procedure, and keep consistent data.After the investigation and study in students’management work of a vocational college, the author makes the demand analysis according to the software engineering knowledge. Through the B/S architecture, the author tries to use J2EE as a platform, Oracle as the database, and JAVA language to design and implement a student management system.In this paper, the author will make investigation and feasibility analysis of the student management work organization structure, business process in a vocational college. Setting the practicality, safety, operability, scalability, stability as the key point, the author will make the development flow chart of students work management system.The author will choose B/S architecture, J2EE design platform, JAVA language and Oracle database, as the core technology and design the system from the functional module, database and security aspects.The system realized seven modules’functions, such as student information management, appraises management, student financial assistance management, disciplinary management, ideological team management, Party building management, and apartment management. And each module was separately implemented to display. At the same time the apartment management was set as an example to carry on the system running and do results contrast test.The effect of the student management system usage is good. The system can achieve informatization and network management on students management work. Using the system, you can deal with the student work quickly and get relevant data timely and accurately. So it can ensure the smooth development of the college student management work, promote the informatization construction and promote the modernization of school running mode of vocational colleges.
