M-ary Spread-Spectrum technique is widely used in special communication due to its excellent anti-jamming performance. When combined with channel encoding, M-ary spread spectrum and frequency hopping, both anti-jamming and anti-interception performance of hybrid spread spectrum system would be greatly improved. This paper focuses on the research of burst communication transmitter. The design of transmitter system scheme and hardware platform are completed, and several related modules are implemented using FPGA. The main contents of this dissertation are as follows:1. Principle of high order M-ary spread spectrum technique is presented, synchronization header with high processing gain and system frame format are designed. Filtering of high-speed signal is realized using the multiphase filter and DA algorithm. Besides, baseband signal is modulated to medium frequency by direct digital synthesis(DDS) and quadrature modulation.2. The system scheme is analized. Parameters of burst communication transmitter are determined. The hardware platform is designed as well, including overall structure design of the transmitter, device selection and circuit design and test.3. The FPGA design of several modules in burst communication transmitter is completed, including global clock and control part; digital processing RS encoding, framing, spread spectrum, waveform shaping, multiphase filtering and digital modulation. This paper also complete the interface module of FPGA, ARM, DAC5682Z and ADF4350 and waveform simulations of each module.
