Plant tissue culture has been developed into an important tool for seedling rapid propagation of agriculture and forest important plants. Enterprises producing seedling mainly through plant tissue culture have been sprung up throughout China. However, due to different sizes of corporations and incomplete quality management, qualities of seedlings produced varied, which sometimes even resulted in large losses in field production, and the industry was challenged with these problems. In this thesis, in order to provide efficient tools for modernized management and quality surveillance of enterprises in plant seedling rapid propagation, a production manage system was developed and a standards system was drafted as a supplement.In the management of plant tissue culture seedling production, miscellaneous data recordings are often required, not only to record the number of units finished by workers,but also to record medium components and culturing periods of each stages of culture,which are important factors influencing quality of final produced seedling. To address these problems, through database design and dynamic web pages building using php and ajax, and by simplifying the processes of data inputting through barcodes implementation,the production manage system built 15 functional module according to the procedure of plant tissue culture, including employee management, inoculation management, bottle washing management, client management, culturing management, explant management,sterilizing methods defining, field genebank management, culture medium making up,culture medium defining, reagent defining, reagent management, production sold, user management and seedling acclimation management. The system set different authority for different users, realized the traceability of inoculating records, culturing conditions and periods in the production of plant tissue culture seedling, solved the problem of miscellaneous data recording in management of the production, and provide a valuable tool of quality control on seedling production by plant tissue culture both for the producer itself and the supervisory authorities.By practice survey, expert consultation, producer interview and literature reference,standards covering all the production chain were drafted, such as enterprise qualification,quality management, necessary equipment and facilities, production management, andincorporated with the production management system already developed, together, they would be efficient tools for production management and quality surveillance in seedling rapid propagation through plant tissue culture.
