Liquid-Level measu brement is an important part in industrial production, it is significance In the petroleum, chemical industry, food processing and other fields. At present most domestic of nuclear liquid level measurement system is based on ARM or single chip microcomputer which has weakness such as it is very complicated to design circuit, design cycle is long, and difficult to maintenance, under the bad environment has poor stability and anti-interference ability is weak. This article innovative to uses Siemens PLC(S7-200) which has Strong anti-interference ability to replace the parts of systems based on single chip microcomputer or ARM. Combining with the suitable amplifying circuit, high level amplitude discriminator circuit and nuclear radiation detector Composed of a liquid level measuring system which has simple structure, good stability, strong anti-interference ability and easy to form product quickly.The paper introduced nuclear liquid-Level measurement principle and the design scheme of Nuclear liquid level measuring system which adopting the point source & long detector; Introduces the 1.25 m long rod plastic scintillator detector and do some test for the detector.;Design the suitable nuclear signal processing circuit(high level amplitude discriminator circuit) and introduced Amplifying circuit; Design the cycle pulse counting data acquisition experiment for the HSC4(HSC5)of PLC(S7-200),realized the accurate measurement of pulse up to 1.4 MHz by improvement program, On the other hand, continuous measurement and data processing were performed based on the rich instruction system of S7-200,system data were real-time display and system controlled by TP177 B or PC.Finally, It was carried out some performance tests for the prototype. Compared with similar foreign products, It is concluded that the preliminary prototype are more accuracy and stability.The paper finally completed the development of nuclear liquid level measurement system based on PLC, Its performance Basic meet the design requirements, it can provide technical support for develop the nuclear liquid level measurement instrument.
