In recent years, construction of state grid projects has been getting momentum, and cross-regional grid projects have entered a faster developing stage. The State Grid Corporation put forward the strategic goal of "building digital grid", through information tools of "digitalization, informatization and interaction systems" to promote building of information systems in collective management of digital design of grid projects.With the using of 3D technology, achievements of digital designs in grid projects are increasingly rich and the data have a high utilizing value. Traditional power grid project database management system can not meet current management requirements in transferring utilizing values of digital design achievements, and it is unable to realize monitoring the whole process of transferring digital designs to managing and construction departments of the grid projects in different regions.Through in-depth analysis of practical requirements of the process of transferring and managing of digital designs of grid projects, this article proposes the overall building scheme of the system, realizing the integrative management of managing projects plan transferring, projects management, transferring and reporting of design achievements, data proving and verification, query and searching of projects data, application of 3D model, data sharing and publication, and system interface module integration and so forth.Upon completion of designing, implementation and testing of the modules of the system, technologies, such as j2ee b/s three-tier framework, Lucene full-text searching of design achievements and 3D model display, have been researched and implemented. By applying this system, it is aimed to improve digital design achievements management level and data quality of grid projects so as to provide effective data supporting service for construction, operation stages of grid projects.
