In recent years, the application of information technology in classroom teaching is becoming more and more extensive. And many scholars have studied the development of the future classroom in depth, especially the interactive teaching platform adapted to the information age. This paper accounts the design and implementation of the interactive teaching platform in the future classroom. Its purpose is to create an interactive teaching platform based on multi touch and mobile terminal technology. The interactive teaching platform meets the students’ learning needs of wireless and paperless, enhance the interaction between students and teachers and provide a new way for the development of classroom teaching.Firstly, this paper introduces and analyzes the future classroom definition, features and the evolution of interactive teaching platform. Domestic and foreign development status of the future classroom and mobile teaching platform is elaborated and summarized. At the same time, it briefly introduces the theoretical and practical significance of researching the interactive teaching platform in the future classroom.Secondly, it analyzes the current situation of the existing interactive teaching platform. In view of the shortage of the existing interactive teaching platform, this paper establishes a logic model of interactive teaching platform. From the two aspects of technology and economy, this paper analyzes the feasibility of the interactive teaching system. From the functional requirements and performance needs, the interactive teaching system of this paper is analyzed. Based on the logic model and demand, the overall framework of interactive teaching platform, server and client system is designed. Each function module of the Android client is designed and implemented and it demonstrates the effect of each function module of the Android client. Subsequently, a test case is given in this paper. The hardware platform of the test case is the future classroom experience area of Central China Normal University National Digital Learning Engineering Research Center (NERCEL). Its software platform is the interactive teaching platform which this paper develops, and the client is mainly for the Android platform. The results show that the interactive teaching platform has the features of real-time interactive, flexible and changeable, and the client is easy to manage and carry.Finally, in view of the future classroom interactive teaching platform, the paper puts forward the further research contents and directions, such as the use of H264 video coding and decoding technology and optimizing code, which can improve the operating speed of the platform and reduce power consumption, etc.This paper describes the design of the interactive teaching platform in the future classroom and proposes a simple and fast video coding and decoding method, especially the realization of the Android client and the optimization of the display part, which can make the system running more smoothly and naturally.
