The Management System Design And Implement For Nursing Home Based On The Internet Of Things

The whole world is gradually stepping into aging society in the 21 st century. China, as the country with the largest population in the world, are facing with most difficult problem. How to take care of these old without children is the problem requsted a quick solution.The research’s background of this paper is the nursing home which takes care of a lot of the old at the same time.The paper based on the Internet of Things technology,and aims to build the data management system of the nursing home.This research of this paper can be divided into two parts: the software designing and the hardware designing. On the aspect of hardware, ZigBee module is maded out as the platform unit of this system, it can position the target node and get all the useful information to the upper computer; GSM module is used as the emergency caller;The acceleration sensor is used to detect tumbling action of the old. On the aspect of software, the initialization and usage of ZigBee is programmed, by RSSI positioning method, the system can locate the targeting elderly node.And GSM module and acceleration sensoring module are initialized in the program. LabVIEW programming switchboard collect and manage each module signals.After all these designing of hardware and software, a lot of experiments are done to prove the feasibility and reliability.In this system, there is the positioning module, tumbling reminding module, emergency calling and supervisor module. With the help of this data platform, the institution can povide a relaxed living enviroment while cutting their budget. The system has been used in Anji Wankang nursing home, has some practical value.
