In nowadays, mobile endpoints and personal consumption electronics are developing very fast. It makes the number of mobile application grow dramatically. Among the massive mobile applications, there is big variety in functionality, as well as discrepancy in product quality. It’s an essential functional requirement for users to locate the application wanted. My dissertation will introduce a search engine for android application and describe its implementation.The Searching Implementation has taken theory of Topic Crawler as a reference, targeting at characteristic of Application Store. It adopts method of Object Oriented Application Design and encapsulates network communication logic, which is the most complex part in whole implementation. It makes implementation of Crawler as a plug-in, in order to make it easy for extension or modification of crawler logic. The distinguishing feature is implementation of comprehensive search engine technology, which can adapt to screen, in according to the characteristic of mobile internet application. Moreover, it leverages plug-in technology to meet the non-functional requirement on quick response of internet application. With crawler’s collection job against Android apps, it captures many applications and related information in cache within short time. This architecture was proven to be feasible and effective.
